Ray Columbus has passed into the aetheric vibration.




He was a regular performer on NZ TV and showbusiness, from his world famous heyday above, until at least the mid eighties, and of course he had a life beyond that as well.

Back in the day, I was doing broadband support. I called them, talked to his partner, who said he wasn't that well. Maybe 8 years or more ago. I talked to him. First thing I said was that it was an honour to talk to him. He was so lovely. A truly lovely guy.

My wife and I remember dancing to him and his band playing at Spencer St, ChCh. Just a year or two ago!
