A bit late aye, Maybe would have been a good idea 10 years ago. Ambulance just arrived at the bottom of the cliff?
Wonder what else they are going to try and save a bit too late.

What is the go to these days for used items? Faceboook market place?

Saw it on Stuff. It's a good thing (so long as you use their card payment system).

I wish they would do something about the retaliatory feedback issue - where people are reluctant to post bad feedback because they will get one in return. Can't be that hard?

Sellers already pay an extra 2% for paynow(credit card) to be used on their listings, the sellers that have average customer service(ie 90-95% positive feedback) could just drop that and not face any action from TM just like it is now.

I wish they would sort out the mess that is feedback. Cant see feedback on a product, just a seller. No reviews or anything.

Fair point, What about a product only allowed to have a SINGLE listing. Instead of 200 pages of the same junk in the same colour. Maybe this is why i stopped using trademe apart from Trademe Motors.

I dont use motors on there either. I occasionally look for things on there and find something at a reasonable price but its a bloody UK or wherever seller so no reason to put up with trademe for it when I could ebay and get the same slow shipping time but have protection. This implimentation might change that slightly but meh, too little to late.

Can you get sellers in the UK now?!?

Like i said above haha, Ambulance is only just arriving at the cliff. Trademe fell flat on its face many years ago.

Yup, was looking for one of these drill powered pumps to empty out a hole in the ground since I cant find my little 12v bilge pump.

Anyway, cheapest sellers on trademe are the same as the cheapest ones on ebay from the UK for about the same price. Wonder which I should use if there was no promise of buyer protection? Hmmmm.

Really wanted to find someone locally I could get it from and pick up but none at sane prices.

Suppose you can only copy ebay to a point then it becomes a Copy Right infringement.
Sorry if i have a grievance with trademe, They have just shafted Kiwis for years upon years and its great to see them slowly die.

Are they dying though? Sure FB threads will be giving them a run for their money, but other than that, what makes you say so apart from a couple of people in this thread being fed up with them?

Still need a bilge pump?  I have a near new 500GPH auto bilge I have no use for.  Yours for postage if you want it?

One problem I have with buying from trademe is shipping prices. You can often find the same products slightly cheaper on ebay with free shipping from China or Hong Kong, or $5-10 to ship nationally using NZPost.
