I am looking for a replacement battery for an older laptop. Unfortunately the only ones on Trade Me are dodgy-looking third-party units. I would much rather buy one which I have seen on ebay.com for about the same price: a lightly-used official battery.

The battery on eBay includes free shipping within the USA - is there any service which can receive it and ship it here?

Shipito, whom I have used for parcel forwarding in the past, state: "no longer will be able to ship loose Lithium Ion batteries (PI965) for our customers. This includes spare [...] Laptop batteries".

Similarly, YouShop state: "Cannot Ship - Standalone lithium metal and lithium-ion batteries".

Are there any parcel forwarding services which will accept a standalone laptop battery? Or is there any other way to get the battery shipped here?

I'm in a similar situation with my macbook pro, (late 2011, 13-inch).There is a much better selection at better prices in the USA, but getting them here is the problem.

Battery Plus (nz) have something for NZD $125.98
Newegg appear to have several and one that fits mine is just over USD $30.

It appears that the one I need is this one (battery model A1322)

It looks like iFixit might have changed their policy:

Note: Lithium ion battery shipping regulations limit the shipping methods for orders containing batteries. Domestic orders may only be shipped via Standard shipping. iFixit is not able to ship batteries internationally or outside the contiguous US at this time.
