Thanks to Norton we have two licenses (five devices) of Norton WiFi Privacy to giveaway this month!

Norton WiFi Privacy works on Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android devices, creating a VPN that keeps your Internet communications secure when connected to unsecure networks. It encrypts the network data with a no-log virtual private network that doesn’t track or store your activity. You can selected from many different locations for the endpoints.

Or just watch the quick video below:

How to Enter: reply in this thread with what kind of use you'd have for a VPN. Double entry points if you post an image of something related to network security (upload the image to Geekzone and use the BBCODE provided). Be creative here folks.

General rules: one entry per user only in our competition. Two winners will be randomly selected. Winner will receive a license for Norton WiFi Privacy for up to five devices. This giveaway is open to NZ residents and closes 24th April 2017 (New Zealand time). Winners will be selected in a random draw and contacted via PM. After confirmation we will post winners' usernames in this topic. Once confirmed winners will receive the prize by mail.

Email notification: this topic may get quite busy, so if you don't want to receive email notifications when new replies are posted, remember to uncheck the "E-mail me when someone replies to this post" option. An unsunscribe option is always sent with every email.

Cape Horn Point, I also made a time-lapse video. This was shot with a slow Galaxy S4, not even a proper camera.

Call me paranoid if you wish but I prefer to keep my net surfing between myself and my laptop.  What with all the hackers, the hijackers, the malware and viruses etc out there now nothing seems private and secure anymore.  I am always unnerved by the fact that someone could be looking at my personal details, my transactions and basically my whole life is open for viewing.  I have tried a couple of free to down-load vpns to try and protect myself but have had less than fantastic results but I imagine that with Norton's' good name and great products a person would not go wrong using this application.

I like using free WiFi on my phone both in NZ and when travelling in places like this:

- but I don't like the (lack of) security in open WIFI.

Leaving shortly for first and last return to Europe so who could have used all the information on Travel Talk, just my luck, so why am I even bothering to enter?  We are mostly staying with family, so only using wifi for communication.  This giveaway would enhance our security, and allow much more freedom when out and about.

What an excellent idea! I do alot of travelling for business in NZ and Oz and am often in an unsafe wifi area, and as such tend not to use them for fear of being stolen by some turd! A Norton WiFi privacy would solve all my issues and also mean I can be more productive, as no more only doing emails etc when I am on my own and feel safe. As a non nerd, I didn't know about this option so will look into it. But if I could win one, even better. Hah, just had a jingle; "Protect us nerds from the cyber turds!"

I would use this to protect myself from computer viruses. I read on Stuff that computer viruses are very bad when they cross species boundaries and spread to human beings.

Booked and paid for family trip to Japan. Will be taking advantage of the free wifi there and would like my devices to be as well protected as I can make them (short of not connecting them full stop). This product will go a long way to achieving my goal.
