Hey all,

Does anyone know how to go about posting a review for a site selling products online if the dont have a feedback/review facility on their page?

Just to give you a bit of background...i recently purchased a product from adultsextoywarehouse.co.nz after checking on google to see that the company didnt have any "scam" comments or bad reviews. Delivery times were stated at around 1-5 working days but three weeks later the item hadnt arrived. I tried making contact with the company numerous times as per the sites contact instructions, no reply any which way. This made me very concerned and i started thinking i had been scammed. I then loged a credit card dispute to get the monies paid returned to my account, only after the bank took action did i get a response from the company saying the goods were on there way. I had purchased elsewhere by that stage as a month had gone by and asked that they just refund my money. All communication ceased once again.

The consumer guarantees act states on time and reasonable price (it seems their "discount price" was almost double RRP, which i just discovered) and i have requested a return address for items while reiterating the pieces of legislation that entitle me to request remedy. No reply. I noted on the site that it says "returns within 7 days" but no address provided. I am quite sure this company is very good at ripping people off and am supprised that there are no bad reviews anywhere, but then it seems hard to do.

Ant thoughts appreciated :-).

google review is pretty good indicator if shop gets my business or not. Not sure if they can edit/delete reviews there, but I will trust google :)

Give Andre a call,

https://www.dnc.org.nz/whois/adultsextoywarehouse.co.nz

Even if he's just the IT guy he might be able to put you through to someone you can complain to.

Edit: I don't think he's the IT guy, I reckon he's a one man band running the sex toy gig on the side while working a day job.

There is one oddity related indirectly to this subject.

If you buy in NZ and have the item sent to the airport then collect it en route out of NZ (for at least 3 days I think) then you need not pay GST.

I've done it with watches and jewellery but I do not believe it is restricted - anything that you can carry in hand luggage works I think.

That is a lot of trouble to go to for a sex toy. You must really want it.

I don't know anything about this company. However many small companies these days are drop shippers, so don't keep stock themselves, so the product may be shipping from overseas. So there could be a longer wait.
