How long does i-parcel usually hold your parcel in limbo with "your shipment has been flagged for review of the contents prior to export"? I've never seen this before, but googling suggests it isn't uncommon, and may be because this TomTom Spark 3 GPS cardio watch has a built-in lithium ion battery?

It's been just over three days now, and I know that's not long, but I'm really looking forward to this item! It's going to be a lot better than my phone carried in shallow running shorts pockets :-)

Because I noticed other i-parcel search results from this sub-form, e.g. https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=164&topicid=157458

Sorry for the trouble. I had no idea something was different regarding posting etiquette in this sub-form.

Thanks for that, and sorry again for not noticing different posting rules for the bargains sub-forum.

Is it an amazon.com purchase?

Usually it'll be delivered within whatever their expected delivery estimate is, I'm sure i-parcel make up reasons to delay packages to they can meet that delivery window rather than exceed it

Yes, but not directly fulfilled by Amazon, I believe. Just sold on their site by TomTom. Though I suppose that has little relevance.

I do wonder how long it takes to look at a factory sealed package of a watch and make up one's mind that it's no more of a threat than any other similar device. Unless it really is a BS excuse for delays. I saw others saying that in other forums I googled on this issue.

Either way, I hope it gets moving by the end of the week. I wana play (okay, exercise as well) with my new toy! *grin*
