I saw this article and it suggested that AGS need to train their cleaners.

But if you look at the photos, it suggests that the students need training on how to poop into the toilets, rather than around the toilets!

"The decile 9 boys' school..."

Holy crap (no pun intended), that's disgusting.

Yes..... but the source is the Herald. Stuff's rival to be the National Enquirer of NZ.

The immediate question is: given that it looks like their normal sensationalist clickbait, is it a beatup or is it factually accurate?

What?  They have rich parents - or things would be a hell of a lot cleaner if they had gender-neutral toilets?

I am saying the thing is disgusting. Rich or not, boys only or not.

I think it's a beat-up.

I'd wager that some of those photos that I had the misfortune to see just after dinner were set up, probably mud from the rugby field or something from their lunch boxes.

or not even from the school, when you build a toilet block you tend to buy the same toilet and put in the same floor for each cubicle ,  they are all different

Common sense is not as common as you think.

Doubt it, I see this kind of thing at uni quite frequently. Luckily the cleaners seem to go through every few hours, so it's gone pretty quickly. There are signs at uni telling people not to stand on the lid/rim when using the toilet, which I suspect is how the "worst" photo occurred.

As for college, I only ever went pee because the toilets were so disgusting, so it's a very believable article.

Who knows (or for that matter, cares)?

I'm not wholly surprised. I was in the GP's surgery waiting room the other day and picked up some leaflet for an illness in children I'd never heard of.

The symptoms list read

"1) Vomiting (being sick)

2) diarrhoea (runny poos)"

I was stunned. If you are so dim that you do not know the meaning of those words without it being spelled out, what on earth are you doing trying to be a parent?!

So toilet training lessons I can sadly believe as being required.

Yeah but, some people dont speak english so well cos they're like, from another country !!

back on topic- I've seen Asian style squat toilets and I suppose if you are used to those, you would probably find the idea of sitting on a shared seat a bit gross.

I know people who grew up used to toilet seats but still find the idea of shared seats gross.
