Just signed up too. Thats a great deal because I buy from WHS and TWH all the time anyway. Hopefully the trial goes well and it expands to other companies, because if they're relying on just those 4 stores I don't think it'll go very well long term.
It makes sense picking them though, given they're all owned by the same company it would be easy to integrate this across all 4 brands.

I wondered if it was driven by that company or by NZ Post. Good idea though!
Signed up.
My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
Free shipping codes for Noel Leeming and The Warehouse are posted very frequently over on Choice Cheapies. Just take that into consideration before signing up.
Seems to be for North Islanders Only. :(

They sneak that in late in the page... A little unfair.
I've looked but I can't seem to find it. What does the pricing revert to after the first 2 months?
I don't think it does. This looks like a two month trial only. I tried to find it too. It ends Oct 13. I guess depending on how successful it is whether it will continue.
Cheers, Matt

they certainly did, o well hopefully enough people from the north use it to make it spread to other regions :)

One of NZ Post's divisions hired an ex-Warehouse GM a couple of years ago. I've gotta say, if this is the extent of NZ Post's so called new ideas, it's little wonder that they are stuffed.
Well that was a total waste of $12.. signed up, just got the "its live now" email that says free shipping only applies if you use the same email address.. I have my own domains and use a discrete email address for every site. Total fail service :-(
I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.
Which IMO, IANAL, does not meet their terms and conditions. It looks like the merchant only needs to know the details, and not use the same details.
Use the correct details – You must give to the Shipmate Merchant Sender your valid Shipmate Subscription in the format set out on the Shipmate website (this includes your valid registered email address). If you do not, the Shipmate Merchant may not remove a delivery fee for eligible items being shipped to an eligible destination.
I'm sent a feedback form off to NZ Post so we shall see what they say.

So that's a giant screw you from NZ Post....
Sorry to hear that Shipmate isn’t quite what you expected. The way that Shipmate works is described on the website, the Terms and Conditions as well as some of the emails you would have received.
Couple of ideas that might help here:
- Change your Shipmate email address to a more convenient one under the About You section after logging in
- Use your Shipmate email address in the Guest Checkout on the merchant site – this will be recognised as being registered with Shipmate
Hope that helps. Happy shopping!

lol what? How does that stop you using the service? It still works, just because it isn't compatible with how you prefer to use sites doesn't mean it's a waste/fail.
If it's that big of an issue just create an email specifically for shipmate and use it during this trial period, then never use it again. nbd.
