Does anyone know of an open one in New Zealand? I have about 16gb of updates to get :S

Would anyone be interested in having one setup?

could be a good idea but the thing is not all ISP's offer free national traffic. Or are you just looking for speed?

Bandwidth would most likely not be hosted as it is not open source software

I can host it no problem as I am on citylink. My problem is international data. It's expensive. Going to take this box home and let it go nuts on the old xtra go large plan :)

I'll update this thread when it's ready.

Infused, how are you connected to citylink? I really want to get connected to the APE but live in Kohimarama and a leased line could be expensive ;)

I really want to have a fast linux/windows mirror hosted here in NZ. Maybe we need to get a team of people together to do this??

I am lucky and have a citylink isp right above me :)

I don't mind hositng the Windows stuff. It's a 25/25 connection so it will be interesting how it holds out.
