PBTech must be rolling in the cash...... their Glenfield store was closed due to a power outage - yet all other retailers in the block remained opened trading. ;)

Do those other retailers still have power? There was also some incident in that area earlier today. Police blocking the road. Maybe related?

A truck has pulled down overhead lines. Happened at 12.30 power still off. Won't be back on until 1am.

Pretty sure that there is 33KV lines on Porana Rd. Also 110KV on that road as well. Gonna be a difficult repair.

You'd think they, of all people, would at least have the PoS equipment on a UPS...

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
