A family member commented on my eclectic taste in sandwich fillings at the weekend.

So I thought I would start a thread on yummy but unusual samiches.

What is yours?  Even better if you have a name for it

My fave at the moment is the hot mess: Avocado, Twisties and sweet chilli sauce.

The wife calls it 'disgusting'... fresh onion, smoked cheese slice and peanut butter. If you find it to gluey then add some mayonnaise.

Cucumber sandwiches, but they must be made and eaten immediately. I also as a young person eat chippie sandwiches.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Nothing odd about cucumber sandwiches, especially with salt and pepper. Arent these the original sandwiches, maybe with crusts off?

OK, maybe mine's not strange after all:

On one slice of bread a layer of mushed up hard boiled egg with tartare sauce to provide some moisture and topped with avocado. On the other slice, mushed up tinned salmon. Bring them together as a sandwich - yum!

In my much younger days, I'd occasionally enjoy a sandwich of very fresh bread, plenty of butter and a good helping of Watties tomato sauce. Or, substitute the tomato sauce for Watties baked beans, straight out of the can.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.
