Seems this place has a lot of current and ex DSE lurkers. Identify yourself!

Hamish 2790, 579 Manners Mall, Feb 05 - Aug 06

Its ok; I know admitting to being a DSE drone may distort peoples opinion of your posts; but together we can be strong!

;)

Just wondering who else might be around after discovering a number of ex's in the IRC channel. Share your store number, and your stories!

DSE 4 Life!!

PS: Silly PMs will be ignored

Hehe they did that to you as well huh ?

Applied via a friend who worked there, interviewed, didnt hear anything till I rung the manager, not enough technical knowledge.

Yeah right, like any of the people you had there at the time had any...
"Im after a xxxxxx "
"Sorry we dont sell those"
"Well, whats that behind you ?"

No offence to anyone as such, but DSE did have a habit of hiring uni students who were studying techinal papers but actually had no clue when it came to practical.

As my friend said when I applied at DSE "It'll be great if you get the job, at least there will be one other person who can identify electronic parts" Tongue out

DSE arent the only ones who do it though.... I got hired by IHUG... my interview was literally this :

"Do you know what DNS is ?"
"Yes"
"Youre hired"
Innocent

maybe Openhost should have asked their people that question too, in light of the recent issue they had where 600 domains went down.
