It's a music show, I present the songs and talk in-between.

On a family holiday to China approx 17 years ago. While in the North East of China, I was interviewed by a local TV news station.

I never got to see the broadcast though.

What did you think of my videos? Was the acting good? What did you like or not like in each video?

Well I haven't technically been on telly other than I was walking towards a bright light at the end of the Big Day Out one year and then figured out at the last minute that it was the light for the TV cameras.  I must have had the worst look on my face LOL

Then there was the time my name was on telly because I won a midi-system on What Now? in the mid-80's!  I still enjoy that memory :)

Never been in front of the camera, but I use to do a lot of the technical stuff to set up scenes or special visual shots. These days I only do tech and special effects for stage shows. I find stage folk, a much nicer bunch of people to work with. Film people, mostly the producers, managers, directors etc  were just too... Lets just say difficult to work with at times :)

Piha Rescue - young lady caught in a rip, I was on a boogie board, paddled over to her, had her holding on to the board while we waited for the IRB.

IRB took us both in, had my 30 secs of fame :-)

I seen this extra once, in a James Bond movie. He was supposed to sweep the ground at the docks to the right side of Daniel Craig, and all he was actually doing was sweeping the air. I'll bet he never found work again. There's also this extra or stunt person who was meant to run at Batman, but then just fell flat on his back despite not being attacked.

Hopefully none, but I was a sound engineer on the floor for a few tv-series that were recorded live, and sometimes we had to duck in and out without getting seen. Never watched the programs on TV so not sure if I was in them or not :D
