Good Morning sweety.

Hi to you too sexy.

I m a member of the crew of hackers in Iraq.

Which crew ?

We contact with you by this mail address because I think that it will be checked.

Really ? An email address clearly labelled "SPAM" will be checked ?

The other day I uploaded a malicious programm in your device and found on them secret info which must harm your usual life and social status, also I realised a function of catching you with your web cam, so you were doing something intimity in front of your device... lol.

Cool. But I am curious.... did you use my mouse, headset or monitor to take those images, because for the life of me I cannot remember using a webcam on this system in years. And as for catching me out during an "intimity" time, well, thats between my wife and I thanks.

If you do not want us to use it agains you you must make a transaction of 330 $ in bitcoins. We are sure that you can pay.

How are you sure I can pay ? You been talking to my bank manager ?

Use this Bitcoin address to pay - (address removed)

You must copy and past it. If I receive this sum we will be silent.

Watch youtube manuals about methods of buing BTC. I can offer you this exchanger: coinbase .com.

If it is impossible for you to buy them in web, you can search the nearest BTC ATM through coinatmradar.

And the nearest BTC ATM is probably 200km from me anyway......

You have no more than 24 hours from the time you read my message to finish a transaction.

So, if I never read your email, I'd never trigger the 24hrs time limit. I can handle that.

Dont try to play with us we write you through our botnet, also I do not live in your country.

Aww, was looking for some more Overwatch buddies. And thats OK, I do not live in your country either.

If you want proofs I can send it to nine mates from your data after that you will be given their links. So you will be able to ask if they have received something or not.

So you'll release some pics of me to my mates that you think are "intimity" - guess it saves me posting to Facebook. Hope you got that one of me from new years eve, was amusing as hell.

For some questions just reply.

No thanks.

Dont be fullish,

Full of what now ?

$nowFore$t team.

xxx

I'm so disappointed in myself - I received my first "Windows helpdesk" call yesterday and only managed to keep the nice Indian chap on the line for about 3 minutes

I have had lots of calls from Microsoft telling me I have a problem with my computer. As soon as I say I'm just sitting down at my MacBook, what would you like me to do, all I hear is a click. smile

I got that scam email - pretty much identical in content.

I have to say its a bit different to the usual junk - Maybe it would scare a few people into some sort of action.

Mine said they were a hacker crew from Vietnam - they must be multinational!

I got a call from the 'Windows technical department' a couple of nights ago ... so started talking in fake Russian.  They hung up after a bout 15 seconds.

I might try Chinese next time, and I have a Swahili phrase book here too.

How I respond depends on my mood. I used to try to keep them going as long as possible by playing very dumb. I always got a kick when they went ballistic at my  inability to comprehend and started screaming. These days I usually just hang up. I am tired of the game. But yesterday I had another (the first in a long time) and I told him he was full of sh!t and that he needed to find a new scam because everyone knows about this one and then I hung up.

"Hello, this is Microsoft Technical support, we are calling because there is a problem with your computer."

"Oh dear, this is very very bad, please can I ask you to say that again?"

"Hello, this is Microsoft Technical support, we are calling because there is a problem with your computer."

"Oh, look, I do not know, do you have a friend or support person that you can ask to sit with you for a little while?"

"What?"

"Well, you see, I am a doctor and I specialise is surgery of the neck and throat. I can hear some clear distortion points in your speech and I am afraid that you have a stage three cancer of the larynx. Look, this is much more serious than any problem with my computer. You really do need to get to see a cancer specialist as soon as possible. Don't let them dismiss your fears, this is real. You must seek medical help today."

I've been getting many of these except this email came from "Taylor Swift" (Bot #478).

Good Morning my friend.
I represent a crew of web criminals in China.
I contact with you by your working email cause we know that you always visit it.
The other day we hacked your computer and made a copy of private details which can harm your life and position in society, also we decided to record you (throug your cameras), it means that you were doing something intimity in front of your device... lol.
If you do not want us to use it agains you you must send 260 usd in bitcoins. We are sure that you can pay.

Use this Bitcoin address to pay - {Removed}
Just use it as usual credit card number. If I receive this sum We will delete everything about you.

There are a lot of information about how to buy bitcoins, just read it. For example you can buy them at localbitcoins, just find seller in your country.

If you have a problem with this, you can search comfortable BTC ATM at coinatmradar.

I give you no more than 24 hours from the time you read this letter to pay.
You can complain cops, but they can not find us I use bot network, also we live abroad.
If you want to see what we have we will send everything to 9 your friends then you will be given their links. So you will be able to ask if they have received something or not.
If you have some problems write me back.

Good luck,
$ui$ideBunnY squad.

The interesting thing is these are all being sent to an email address I've only ever used with Draytek. I suspect they've been compromised somehow.
