Just curious as to who is with who for internet and power due to there being so many bundle/combo deals out there.

I am currently with Orcon for both but I am wondering if there are cheaper options out there as I am looking to switch to Mercury for power.

I'm with TrustPower for power (was the cheapest here in Whakatane at the time, although it's been a year since I've last checked). I'm with Mynxnet for Internet, who unfortunately hasn't adjusted prices in 3+ years now. I'm considering switching to another ISP but I don't want to lose my static IP!

Genesys for gas, Powershop for electricity.

Got a call from Contact Energy, offering a "22% discount for prompt payment, 1% for dual energy and 1% for direct debt"... If it was 22% discount over my current prices, sure - but not for "prompt payment".

Going back to Powershop for power (trialling Mercury’s EV plan, but 11pm offpeak means harder to do washing and dishwasher etc on offpeak) and Skinny for Internet (now $49/120GB)

Genesis for Power and Spark for VDSL, when we move at the end of the month it will be Genesis for Power and Piped Gas and Spark for Fibre (however Slingshot's sharp pricing is tempting me still).

Thanks all for the replies

I’ve now changed from Orcon Power to Contact Energy, worked out slightly cheaper from Orcon: 28.99c/Kwh - 38.32c/Day to Contact Energy: 27.3c/kwh - 33.3c/Day with 20% discount, I've also signed up for their Fuel Rewards Freedom Plan for the AA Smart Fuel saving of 30c a month and a free fill up once off.

I am still with Orcon for Internet at $80 a month for 100/20 Unlimited Fibre, MyRepublic is $5 cheaper for the same but I will be charged a cancellation fee by Orcon so not worth it.
