Hi All,

Are there any plumbers that install solar hot water systems in Auckland here?

I am looking at solar hot water, we have no plans on moving house so we thought we will investigate.

If anyone has had an install recently can you please let me know the price ( I know it will be different from house to house )

I like the solar tubes, they seem to be the most efficient from what I have read online.

Thanks

John

Thought they had gone out of favour for photovoltaics and a solar power diverter on them instead.

I have seen a DC element to replace in the hot water cylinder,

If there are other ways that are more cost effective I would be interested.

John

I suspect this Government will announce good solar subsidies in this years budget if you want to wait.

I was thinking that too, if I get pricing now I will know if they are returning the subsidy or jacking up the pricing like the insulation installers did.
