Vector's online outage map doesn't seem to be up to date. Mum in Meadowbank has no power but nothing on Vector's map.

Likewise both AT and Maxx websites this morning had nothing about train disruption but there was a significant issue on southern line with bus shuttles required.

My bbq seemed to have disappeared this morning (small cheap charcoal kettle type) - found it in the flowerbed :D

The AT android app was certainly very active earlier advising of outages and/or delays to western, eastern and southern routes.

There is a Portacom up the road from work, it is now on it's side on the other side of the road.

I don't consider myself a particularly cruel or vindictive person, but as a Wellington resident this event has made me smile a little on the inside.

No harm in a little schadenfreude, especially if it rhymes with your name!

Some plastic roofing stuff came down our drive.

One fence (amended) got broken, repaired now.

Going over to friends the morning after, there was crap everywhere. Mostly bins, fences and trees.

All down West Coast Rd, a metal panel (not corrugated iron) trashed, one wooden fence lying flat on lawn, trees and big meaty branches everywhere, including one on railside Ave in henderson.

Garden people everywhere, fire engines all over. Cops at numerous intersections directing gtraffic.

Waikumete cemetry had big branches all over.

2 garage doors buckled.

Heaps of mess everywhere.

Went for a walk today around Albany, and saw this tree split right into three in Kell Park.
