<RANT> 45 emails copied through to 5 individuals (1 client) over the space of two weeks, because the (monopolistic and "technology driven") supplier of product wants everything done by email?

Really????

All because the supplier is never available by telephone ("Our call back times are currently too long and we suggest they call us") to answer and talk direct to the customer. The customer is confused by the email questionnaire that she has received and does not understand. I am not allowed to be involved in those questions.

A 7 day wait!!! This was supposed to be a 5 minute job for a very simple request.

And don't get me started on the other knobs that wont even reply to their emails. I know, I know ............... they are still catching up! <RANT OVER>

I really feel for those people that accept this work environment because they have no other choice. But I feel more for those customers that sit there, cringe and question "Are we really moving forward"? No. At the basic level we are going backwards.

Agreed. Snail mail was a better business tool in many ways.
