I'm looking at purchasing a 10" Huawei Mediapad M5.

Amazon UK list these, but state that "This item does not ship to New Zealand"

Yet, the site lets me add to basket with a NZ shipping address, with estimated delivery dates, and even includes customs duties.

I did not click the final Buy Now - the final step, as wasn't sure if I would get charged, receive no goods, then have the hassle of following up a refund.

Any thoughts on what would happen if I hit the buy now?

Very little hassle getting refund from Amazon. I'd just click the buy now and see what happens.

You could send via youshop, lower risk but will cost you $25 or so.

And the time before that when I looked they did, but had a large list of requirements, and that list changed with no warning. shipito have a sensible list, but again very expensive compared to a direct amazon shipment. Zero hassle refunds on amazon, so dont worry about it at all. Amazon understand customer service which is why they are so scary for most NZ businesses who do not.

As a follow up - Amazon confirmed today that my Mediapad has been dispatched and will reach our shores next week, despite the product page page saying it did not ship to NZ.
