With several companies in NZ offering price matching, I'm curious if any will price match the final price (NZD $ for item + shipping to NZ) to get an item from US Amazon sore?

i highly doubt it. mightyape will sometimes price match nzgameshop.com. but thats already in NZD and includes shipping. most places say "local" in the fine print. Local to the point it has to be within 5km radius of the store sometimes, and be in stock on the day.
Amazon don't really price match as such.
I tried it with the guys who supply parts for Johnson outboards in NZ. No luck. So I bought from the US supplier ($300nz instead of $700nz).

Wouldn't see why anybody would want to. Depending on what you're wanting to price match they'll be selling NZ sourced stock with a full warranty and more importantly complying with CGA obligations.
What do the terms and conditions say for the price match?

you have it round the wrong way,
I tend to buy stuff from Amazon which I don't expect to keep around for longer than the US warranty period. The few times I've needed to return a faulty item to Amazon they've always paid the return shipping and been very helpful, which is more than most NZ companies do, even with the CGA, it's like pulling teeth most of the time. (note: I only buy stuff from Amazon that is sold by Amazon, not third parties selling on Amazon)
The only company that I know in NZ that takes care of the return shipping is MightyApe, which is probably a big reason why I buy a lot of stuff from them when it makes sense (e.g. don't want to wait weeks for a warranty fix). (+ their amazing support team)
About two years ago I needed a large capacity SD card in a hurry.
Went in to Noel Leemings, and while they had what I wanted their price was really taking the proverbial. I told him I wanted the card but the price was unreasonable given what I could land it for. Pulled up the Amazon page and showed the sales-guy what I could land it for, and he tapped away at his keyboard and immediately offered it to me at less than half the price it was on sale for. Which wasn't quite price matching, but closed the gap a lot. Didn't even raise an eyebrow or quibble.
So while they won't price match as such, at least some retailers seem to be aware that customers have alternatives and they have to compete. Also, unlike TVs etc, I suspect their markup on that type of accessory must be phenomenal for them to immediately just cut the price like that.
