I'm tracking a parcel with 4px

2018-6-27 04:41:00HK,Hand over to airline.

2018-6-28 06:55:00NZAKL,Arrive at transit airport.

2018-7-2 15:44:00Shipment arrived at destination country.

2018-7-2 20:18:00 Arrival at Processing Center.

Does anyone know how long the mail processing centre takes?

It is for a birthday present tomorrow, I had high hopes it might have been delivered by now.

depends on how many low priority things they have to process? for me it's upto 5 working days upon arrival into country to get to my door, though usually 3.

if yours is higher priority it should be faster. if high priority chuck the tracking number to nzpost.co.nz tracking site

Arrive at destination country 2018-06-12 09:28:51 [GMT+8]

My package has not arrived in processing centre...

NZ Post Tracking can't help.

Depending on when you ordered it and the time taken for the supplier to process it and get it shipped, looking at the time it got to the HK airline it does look like you didn't really give yourself a lot of breathing room to get it here in time to be honest.

Yep - when I ordered it it wasn't intended to be here for the birthday, but when it looked like it might we got our hopes up ;)

It's interesting. I get lots of stuff delivered and noticed it takes a LONG time for some parcels to get from Auckland to Chch. I phoned and asked about this and jokingly commented that was it even possible to buy a postal service as bad as the one they use for international parcels once they arrive in the country and got a straight answer that no, it wasn't possible.

Parcels arriving into the country are delivered with a lower priority than ANY class of mail or postal service we can buy over the counter in NZ.

I was surprised they admitted this so freely, but not surprised it's the case.

I regularly have NZpost take 2 weeks to get something from Auckland to Christchurch. (regularly as in probably 10 times in the last 3-4 months I've waited that long for the national leg of the journey)

Cheers - N

The average for me in Christchurch is 4 days from Auckland arrival to delivery.

Sometimes it is over a week.

Obviously depends on how full the NZPost truck is bringing mail from Auckland.

Looks like NZ Post Tracking does not track incoming air mail....

All my appropriately prioritized tracked stuff show up at nzpost or courierpost, usually before they reach the country

I guess Aliexpress free air shipping takes very low priority in NZ...

My order:

China to NZ - 10 days.

Arrival in destination country to my place now 23 days so far....

I usually get an update email from NZ Post about a week after the item has already been delivered saying it has just been delivered, if it's come via Youshop.
