Just received my copy of the remastered White Album. I can't believe it's been 50 years since I bought my first copy. But what makes this special is the remastering into the 5.1 DTS HD MA. It just sounds so fresh and full of detail. Alive as if were yesterday. Timeless music.

Agree. It's incredibly sharp. Some of it reminds me of first hearing Nevermind.

I can still vividly remember buying my copy from Marbecks in Queens Arcade in Auckland - and old Mr Marbeck handing it over - and then sitting looking at it and reading the track names on the bus going home. When I got home I pinned the four photos of the guys on my bedroom wall.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I'm afraid the Beatles have never quite made my listening collection.

I think it's McCartney: I just can't stand his singing. I used to turn the radio off of he came on.

FYI - The Sound radio station is broadcasting a special about the album at the moment (started at 4pm) with interviews, background info, etc
