Why don't we ever have ideas like this here? I find it very appealing to be composted and returned to the ecological cycle when I am through with my body.

We have natural burial in ecocaskets. This one takes it one step further. No idea what's involved. Probably groundwater regulations and things like that to consider.

A friend of my mother died last year.

The burial was a natural woodland burial with a wicker coffin. Mother said it was charming. The gravestone was an oak tree.
