Hey Geekzone,

It's my birthday coming up and I'm looking at a Drone.

I've had a few - a Hubsan H107 toy brushed, JJRC, geared brushed so familiar with flying but after something a bit more powerful for possible carrying camera and grunt for pissing around - flying around lamp-posts and in a stiff breeze (I do live in CHCH so it's very rarely ever still/gentle wind.)

I've narrowed it down to these two:

Bugs 3 brushless full size drone:

Hubsan H502e brushed geared GPs drone:

I'm leaning towards the Bugs as it's significantly more powerful and has the ability to carry a Go-pro.

I fly in CHCH, so line of sight only and protected flying under the nearest trees as well, so GPS control would be nice, but probably not at the heights/distances I can fly legally.

Anyone who can weigh in and provide some thoughts?

cheers guys!
