I thought I bought it from Farmers or someone similar, maybe Hallensteins, but my googlefu is failing me.

Inspired by New Zealand, not made here I'm guessing :)

Must be in the same boat as me, looking for a descent woolen jumper replacement. Hard to come by, lots of cotton or polyester alternates however. Just not the same!

This is a Mens Jersey and I would imagine that if it has Inspired by New Zealand, there is a reasonable chance I bought it from a NZ retailer. I wish I could remember.

I am, and I want a Half Zipper and something not prone to massive static too.

Within reason, cost isn't my primary concern. The thing with this particular jersey is it's not too hot and not too cold. I wore it to work (I work in an office) all winter and spring last year and wasn't really cold or not.

I don't normally buy brown either, but this was surprisingly nice looking.

The closest thing I've found this year is fake ones from connor, and thin as merino from farmers.

And they are not cool enough for hallensteins now they have turned into teenager skatepark range.  It's like we've rolled back the clock to the 60s and vests, V necks, cutoff pants and boatshoes are back!

Other than that most farmer type stores have them for ~$250 :/

$400! You'd need to be Obama to afford it!

I dunno, I've always managed to find decent-enough ones at Farmers; I know the thin merino ones you're talking about, and they're useful for the current kind of weather (when it can be cool enough to need an extra layer but not a thick one), but they also have had more substantial ones as well - eg https://www.farmers.co.nz/men/men-s-clothing/knitwear/line-7-coleman-1-4-zip-lambs-wool-knit-charcoal-6403443

As it comes into winter their collection has grown as well; usually only have to wait a few weeks to get them at 50% off! - https://www.farmers.co.nz/men/men-s-clothing/knitwear/SortingAttribute-ArrivalDate-desc-PageSize-200

Ezibuy usually sells a decent range of men's knitwear, and occasionally puts them down to stupid prices (we bought some for presents - 1/4 zip merino jerseys of decent weight for $30sh).

I've also had great wear out of 1/4 zip Icebreaker jerseys, but they don't come cheap.

Don't know on that brand.

However, if you are near a Munns menswear, check them out (quickly) as they are having a closing down sale with 60% off the normal retail price. I went into the Munns on Willis street in Wellington yesterday lunchtime, and it was like the first day of a Kirks sale. Mad.

Link to story on Munns closing

https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/112628565/munns-menswear-100-years-old-to-close-all-its-stores-nationwide

Falling that, the Hallensteins merino blend (50% fine gauge merino & 50% arcylic) jerseys are good and wear really well. Cheap as well.

EDIT: Added link to Stuff re Munns

Not the brand you are looking for but these seem very well priced at $95 (65% wool), $130 (all wool), or $190 (possum blend and wool, dual layer), ...

https://nznaturalclothingshop.co.nz/products/backyard-wool-jersey-mkm-originals.html

Have no idea what the quality is though.
