So I've sold an Apple TV 4K and Television to a member on Geekzone, I've received the money and I was advised that they would organise someone to pick it up. It has been a month since I've heard from them and I've tried messaging them but there has been no reply and and in the messaging section it appears that they haven't read the message I've sent. My concern is that I've received his money, I've got the items for pick up and nothing has happened - so what do I do?

Give the CAB a call up and they will tell you what your rights are.

Why Trade Me, he sold it on Geekzone. The first line on his post states that.

Another scenario, that user is using the mobile version of the GZ website. As that site doesn't notify you of new messages like how the main site does. (unless the mobile site has been updated since I last used it).

We don't have a mobile site anymore. It's one site only for all platforms now.

oops , guilty of failure to read haha.

In that case, maybe the mods can track through IP address... at least ask the ISP's if they can pass a message a long or find out? Shouldn't be breaking any privacy laws so long as the ISP doesn't give out a name.

You should be able to send the money back to their account and then relist the item. a month is more than enough time to hold onto large items

Just wait it out and keep the goods in a safe place. I am sure the mods here will advise you correctly.

I would keep the goods ready to go. I sold a printer here months ago, got paid and the new owner is collecting it this weekend, when coming to Wellington for the Geekzone Pizza...
