Is it just me, or does Aliexpress now require you to login before searching for products?

Ive never had a captcha on there? Also just did a search without logging in. It still had the Welcome back, Richard on the my aliexpress dropdown so it knows who I am even tho not logged in. Whats this captcha look like? Are you guys obsessive cookie clearer types?
Search worked for me without logging in. Tried in an incognito session just to be sure.

You may have hit the nail on the head here. I've started using Brave, which has pretty aggressive cookie cleaning, and the issue with Ali may have started around then. I've whitelisted the site in Brave, and will see if the problem goes away.
cleared cache in Chrome / Chromium
Was able to search without login prompt.
Also tried after login and then logout - still able to search without login prompt

I find that the only time the captcha comes up is when your are logging in from an IP that seems to be quite different from your normal IP, for example when I was logging in at work, the connection to the web comes from an Australian ISP it gave me the captcha, upon logging in when I get home another captcha (the 2 radically different IP's).
Just restarted computer and login not required. Not sure what what was going on this morning?
