Hi,

there was a quake at 11.25pm this evening just south of Hastings - the geonet.org.nz readings are still there - pretty interesting, 1st time I've managed to see a quake reading soonish after its happened.

Any damage up the coast?

regards

I live in Havelock North, (8 k's out of Hastings) and I defiantly felt it, some things fell down but nothing major.

Just after the main quake I started recording video and got a mini after shock but nothing to interesting :( (You can never be to sure Laughing)

It was pretty big. I launched into my sons room, 18 month old was a bit disoriented by it and didnt get back to sleep till 2am.

No damage at home or work. (Both central Hastings)
