For the first time in almost 30 years of online shopping I have been hoodwinked. I thought I was buying from batteryupgrade.co.nz, it even has nz domain email address. The first hint that someting was wrong was the statement on the visa (via paypal) with the letters BV. Having worked for Philips, I know that means Private Limited company. So, obviously not a New Zealand Company. I have sent numerous emails, no response. Paypal refuse to do anything because I cant show any responses from them. They have a number of websites, hence the asterisk in the title of the post. Be warned !!! In some countries you can not own a business domain unless you have a local company or can show local residency. Why dont we ? This would cut down so much scam.
