Does anybody have experience with shipping from China through TNT / NZ couriers?

My parcel's been stuck on "Shipment arrived at TNT location" / "Scheduled delivery pending" since the 25th of October. I gave NZ couriers a call and they told me to query TNT instead, gave them a call and said they had handed it over to NZ couriers and to call them instead; back and forth for a while before I gave up.
