Just received an email about this. Access Granted NZ are winding up and as a result this event has been cancelled. Was looking forward to involving my 7 year-old daughter in the OMGTech! kids section. I, along with a number of others here, have certainly enjoyed attending the last few of these. A great networking opportunity, it's a real shame to this go.

Edit: official news here.

This was quite unexpected considering that they have probably already invested a lot of time and money in organising the event.

Perhaps we should have a casual end of year Geekzone gathering in Wellington.

Yeah that was disappointing, it normally a good event to catch up....I'm not sure I particularly go for the event, or the fact it's an end of year catchup with the GZ folks.
