Ordered a new iPhone yesterday at 4.11pm and it just arrived at our doorstep at 1.36pm today.

Why does new apple stuff come all the way from Aussie and not just say from Auckland or Wellington ??

Anyway I am hard pressed to get stuff overnight within NZ let alone from Aussie to here that fast.

Well done DHL that is bloody amazing and much appreciated.

When you can get stuff from Sydney to NZ that quick, why would you bother having a NZ warehouse? Its just added cost.

To true, I find it amazing they can get things delivered so fast,

I have seen items take 3 to 4 days to be delivered from Rolleston to Christchurch which is only 26kms away.

A lot of times I receive items from UK under 48hrs with cheapest royal mail option. two 10-12 hrs flights + logistics.

NZ post is useless.

When I order my contact lenses from an online optometrist in NZ they are shipped overnight from the distributor in Australia. Cut off time is 4PM NZ time, and every time they've arrived next day no later than around 11am with DHL.

Yeah Apple have some sort of magic shipping stuff going on from Oz. Have seem similar things a few times, it's extremely impressive.
