Hi guys,

I bought some UE Megaboom (https://www.1-day.co.nz/products/ue-megaboom-charcoal-black-4?sr=ue) off 1-day and it had a shipping time of between 10-14 days.

Which makes me wonder how they are sourcing these units? Are they waiting for some refurb shipment from overseas?

Secondly anyone got any experiences - good or bad buy from them?

Thanks

I've brought loads from them over the years. Some things arrive pretty quick and other things can take a good week or so. I've never had any issues

Either refurb or parallel import no doubt.

It's the warehouse group. And they're particularly busy this time of year.

I worked for a company that sold stuff to 1-Day.

1-Day has a couple of ways of fulfilling orders, each with their own problems/delays.

1. They order stock from a suppler and hold it at their warehouse.

2. They work with a supplier to ring fence stock at the suppliers warehouse. 1-Day sells the product on their site. 1-Day then sends the order details to the supplier and the supplier fulfils the orders for them, shipping directly to the customer.

I worked for a company doing option 2. We wouldn't get the details from 1-day until the sale had finished so if it ran multiple days it would immediately cause delays for the customer.
There were times when we were selling something through 1-Day where we didn't have the stock ourselves, which would then cause delays while we waited for our own supplier to send the stock to us to then fulfil the orders. A lot of people clipping the ticket along the way for those sales. I imagine that's still fairly common place with 1-Day, though this was about 4 years ago so things may have changed.

Yes.   I have bought small items like razor blades to a bluetooth mouse, walking shoes etc.

No problems and goods arrived within a week.

Bought a expanding garden hose that broke very quickly and they refunded my money without even asking to return the faulty

product.

Dont know the answers to your other queries.

I brought a UE wonderboom from 1 day refurb shipped from Hamilton, brought soap, deodorant, etc and also shipped from the same area. Shipping was pretty quick but the lead time they provide is usually accurate.

Never had an issue with them.
