So weird - I ordered something from the US on November 30th and it has been sitting in NJ "processing" for days. I happen to overhear a colleague who said their DNA testing kits were also stuck in NJ "processing" and had been since the 8th of December. Then I mention my package being stopped, another colleague pipes up saying the same thing.

Has anyone else got packages being shipped via DHL that are currently stuck in New Jersey?

How is this even a bargain or deal? You just spammed so many people with watch topic emails

Apologies, was meant for off topic forum which was open in my other tab and posted to the wrong forum. Can a mod please move accordingly? Thanks!

I've ordered something from Germany, shipped on the 26th of November and arrived in NZ 2 days ago.

Was that via DHL or another shipping company. Specifically, this issue seems to be with the Avenel, NJ processing plant. There appears to be a few stories online about this specific sorting centre holding on to packages for excessive periods of time. I'm curious to know if many other users here bought stuff on Black Friday and chose shipping via DHL have noticed delays?

It was sent with Deutsche Post, but that's only until it leaves Germany, then it becomes a DHL parcel.

i am guessing the shipment is via DHL Global & not DHL Express. Did you ring Customer Service?

We (company's) had that same issue & found out it was missing a document...

Yep, DHL Global eCommerce package.

Still hasn't changed status.. last update was the 10th of December. Packages from AliExpress Standard Post arrive quicker than this. 😂

Contacted the seller, they're obviously annoyed at DHL as well because they shipped the item out within 24 hours (on the 30th of November).

Colleague also experiencing the same issue. No way that it is going to make it to NZ this side of Christmas given the expected hold up with GST once it gets here.

Oh well, lesson learnt - going to avoid using that shipping method moving forward.
