Up until a few weeks ago they were made in the USA. Now I notice that they are manufactured in China.
It would be interesting to know if this is a global change, or whether NZ has just decided to cut costs by changing where it gets them from.
Either way, I won't be buying any more!

I have no confidence in the safety of food products manufactured in China. The NZFSA is working with importers to assess which products that are made in China might be at risk, and to start testing them as appropriate. In the meantime I think I'll give it a miss. This is, of course, a purely personal decision and I am not trying to tell anyone else what to do.

I will have to agree with you ... I use to eat those "white rabbit" lollies but not any more.

I'm a Eclipse mints addict, I have a pack on my desk at work, my wife has hers in her bag and we have some in the car. I have not noticed a change in the product at all, but after reading this thread have now noticed the "Made in China" on the side of the Tin.

I will continue to consume the product as I see no reason not to, still tastes the same.

But should I start to grow a third arm or something I will let you all know, Hey, at least I'd be able to type faster with three hands.

Looks like they are withdrawing the Eclairs from Aussie shelves, just to be on the safe side ....

I always have Eclipse mints and never noticed where they came from, but my current ones are from China.  Don't really know if I still want to eat them, but then again nothing bad has happened to me...
