Hey Guys

Just wondering if anyone knows roughly how much one can expect to pay if you wanted to sub-divide some land with your house?
I have heard the cost can be quite big and take a long time to get through the council etc.
Has anyone ever sub-divided before?
Would be great to know what we could expect the process to be like and approximate costs involved.
