The shipping costs on my amazon order have decreased, from 26USD to 6USD.
Looks like Amazon are back in business for me.

Yep I noticed it yesterday as well.
Still not getting DHL parcels from Germany though to NZ
Yes seems to be a reasonable price again, nice spotting. Get in quick in case they change it back.
Just ordered a bunch of Monoprice certified HDMI cables after being sick of dicking around with some local ones that keep blacking out.
I don't how bad it was, but I paid $16USD for normal shipping for 5 cables.
Shipping was obscene for some items, but has now gone back to almost Pre-COVID pricing.
Quite something.

Deutsche Post, which includes all of its affiliated organisations like DHL, have suspended post to NZ. They'll still deliver stuff to Pitcairn Island, where you need to row across in a dinghy to drop it off, but not to NZ because apparently the target country (NZ) has no functioning postal system.
OK, arguably with CourierPost to non-business addresses that might be a valid claim :-), but it's still completely nuts.
