Youshop seems to having terrible processing delays at present.

I bought a book from Amazon (that wasn't shipping to NZ). It arrived at my Youshop USA address on 1 August via USPS.

Still no sign of it 12 days latter.

I contacted NZ Post to request an investigation 5 days ago.

They sent me an email requesting information that I had already supplied in my initial request.

Still no news. I am doubting that I can trust their service to efficiently process future purchases.

Anybody know of a good alternative?

Thanks,

Tim

I think patience is required during a global pandemic.

ShipItTo is a great professional reshipper, but you'll likely pay 50% to 100% more than Youshop even for economy shipping. Youshop collects everything together and puts it on a plane when it can, so they get to NZ fairly quickly. Economy shipping from ShipItTo puts it into the regular postal system. Of course they can do DHL etc who are very fast and reliable, but often quite expensive.

Thanks for the info regarding ShipitTo. I was getting a bit worried as I've never had to wait 12 days after a parcel has been delivered to YouShop before getting recognition that the parcel had arrived (including during this pandemic) . Was starting to think it had gone west.

Happy ending: two hours after posting here I got an email from NZ Post stating they had found my parcel.

I’m in a similar situation. Two packages from Amazon, one took a week to process after arrival before I got the email from them, still waiting on the second.

Portland is a complete and utter disaster zone from Covid and the massive nightly protests. Hardly surprising there are delays.

Experiencing the same issue!

Purchased some mounting brackets from Ring in the US. 2-day delivery and it was received and signed for at the YouShop warehouse.
Been a week now and it has not appeared up.

Have asked NZ Post. They requested info. Provided that and still nothing.

The annoying part is that yes - we are in the middle of a COVID-19 situation - esp. so in the USA but NZ Post's website says there are no issues with YouShop at the moment.

Similarly, I’ve three parcels that report as having been delivered to YouShop (two from Wyze, one from Amazon), and the first of these finally showed up on YouShop yesterday, despite all having been received over a week ago. Given I’m wanting to have them repackaged and sent as a single parcel, I can’t arrange this until the others are scanned in...

Not ideal, guess you just have to put up with delays given the "black lives matter" protests and covid.

Portland is an interesting place. Some really bad things have been going on there for a while now.
