Was not sure where to put this, sorry if there is an existing thread. Its pretty generic in terms of just wanting to clarify how to import from Android?

I have a few tech things I want to import, but as an example the Mrs has decided she wants early 2019's Iphone XS 4GB model to replace her personal phone.

I have never purchased anything of any value from Amazon. Im presuming they will not deliver to NZ directly? So do I need to use a resender service like youshop?

Thanks :-)

Import from Android? You mean Amazon?

Amazon ship a large percentage of their products internationally. I can't answer if you'll need to use YouShop, it will obviously depend on whether the product you want can be shipped internationally.

Log into your Amazon account. Go to a product page.

If the product can be shipped to New Zealand you will see a message.

Put an item in your cart. If the product can't be shipped to New Zealand directly at checkout time, you will see a message.

For products that can't be shipped directly, you will then use a YouShop address.

Amazon will calculate and charge import taxes.

When using YouShop you will have to provide a copy of the invoice from Amazon (download from your Amazon Orders pages) and give the correct amount so they can calculate taxes.

Haha yes mate. Lol its the Brain fog I get with the MS. I get words in general context of whats on my mind mixed up and because the brain is still going flat out it is even worse talking sometimes when I cant get out what Im thinking. :-)

What is the general cost of youshop?

Do amazon charge extra import taxes or is that GST related?

Thanks I will add some things to my the amazon account and see what I can import. Some things are for my boat and a bit heftier so likely will cost a bit to ship.

Hard to determine as the dimensions of the parcel will dictate price. It's not the cheapest in any way, really, just convenient.

Also, some retailers won't ship to YouShop as it is a known reshipper service address now. So you might place something in the cart but at checkout time it might not go through.
