At last we have definitive proof. This monolith was clearly left behind by aliens to save us from ourselves and further our development. I am now accepting membership in the official monolith cult for a low lifetime fee of whatever you've got. Don't worry, you won't need it in paradise.

So your saying there's still a chance 2020 closes out with an alien invasion? Excellent.

Simply not acceptable - we can’t have people running around planting stuff like this. Get the Utah Highway Division to blow it up.

Aliens do have a sense of humour .
Aliens put it there as a practical joke. Trump , an alien practical joker (what other explanation ?)
Aliens no longer find crop circles funny , so have moved on to monoliths .

I always thought the standard sign of alien visitation was that - your fixing something, you go to grab a spanner and it isn't there, you look all over the house for it, you go back to your job and there's the spanner, exactly where you left it.

And close examination of the spanner shows it has been used for probing.

This sort of thing actually happened quite a bit in East Germany, it was used by the Stasi to destroy the lives of people who were a threat to the state.

Crop circles are still very much in vogue.

Our back lawn a couple of weeks ago...
