Hey All,

I am looking at importing something form Aliexpress that is a decent size and weighs about 140kg.

This will be arriving via boat and shipping is included up to the the purchasers sea port.

Does anyone know/recommend a courier company or possibly freight forwarder that can take over once it arrives at the port and deal with customs/taxes and courier it to my residential address?

Cheers

You might want to enquire with Mainfreight or Toll

You will probably have to get yourself an NZ Customs Client Code (prior to shipping) as you will be the importer.

When I did this I just used MainFreight. They did the Paperwork and organised the delivery to my door as well. Make sure if it's going someone residential they use a truck with a lift to make it easier to get out.

Yeah it was relatively easy, I called them to ask about it and find out costs before going that way. They provided an invoice with the itemised details for the various costs and saved me having to muck around trying to do it by myself.
