Has anybody mastered the settings for Vogels toast (from frozen) ?

The closest I have got is using the grain setting on 4 bars and then putting it down for a 2nd time on 5 bars. It looks perfect but it isn't properly toasted in the middle.

This is for the Sunbeam Alinea Slice Toaster.

I know, I do miss a simpler toaster in alot of ways - unless , somehow , I can master this thing. smiley face.

I'm not sure which thickness of Vogels you use - it may be that bizarre extra thin slice loaf - but that'll make a big difference...

We have a Breville toaster, but, as a household in which Vogels toast slice is the default, I feel your pain.

Even from fresh, if toasting four pieces we need to set it to maximum. (Being long slots we can often squeeze in six pieces, but that needs one and a bit cycles!)

From frozen would definitely need more than one cycle, but I find that I don't like the way the bread inevitably curls when toasting, which also impacts on how well it's toasted. It's little hassle to defrost the bread in the microwave (on a reduced heat setting) so as to avoid this, plus this means the toasting will hopefully only need a single cycle.
