I didn't even know he was suffering from Cancer.

Mostly seen in NZ on 8 out of 10 cats, 8 out of 10 cats does countdown, and QI ( the earlier seasons )

 

Have been binging these for the past few years - will miss his style of comedy

I think I need to start watching 8 out of 10 cats, it's pretty British, and so with all topical comedy, it does tend to rely on knowing a fair bit of what's going on in the UK.

 

I really like Carr, he was a bit grubby in some of his stuff, but it's not as bad as it was, now.

I think the dynamic between Jimmy's OTT grubbiness and Sean's wry and dry humour (a la the challenging wank comment and weird mascots like the fishbowl he drank from) mixed with Jon's "I'm so very small and innocent and love a good cardigan" act is what really made 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. 

 

 

 

Try as I might, I cannot think of anyone quite like Sean Lock. He was a very unique and clever man who often made me belly laugh unexpectedly.

I am certainly not a prude, and I don't mind (often quite enjoy) dirty jokes, but some of his stuff made me feel queasy.
