Calling all bush lawyers:  I received this from AASmartfuel "

By continuing to use AA Smartfuel after this date, you're confirming that you've read and accepted AA Smartfuel's updated Privacy Policy.

which seems a pretty common sort of statement.  But what does it mean?  I no longer use AASmartfuel for electrical reasons, but I have the card still, and maybe some places at which I shop give me points.  I do want to remain a member of the AA.  If the email had gone to trash, I'd never have known that I had agreed to the new Privacy Policy.  This is like sending me something unsolicited, and expecting me to pay for it.  I thought this sort of practice was illegal?
