The American actor Ed Asner passed 29th Aug. Best known for his role in the Mary Tyler Moore show of the 70's. A gruff man with a teddy bear's heart.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Still acting until very recently too.  I saw him in Cobra Kai most recently, and his IMDB has tons of upcoming projects he was attached to.

We were just watching him on the latest episode of Grace and Frankie. His roles as a media editor struck an accord with me as my first job out of Uni was for a daily newspaper. His character was accurate. RIP

Wow...I didn't realise he was still alive. 

 

I find it hard to think of him as an actor. He'll always be an editor to me.
