Found this symbol on the back of several containers. It looks like a tub with a lid and then there is a number and the letter "M". The number is different on the containers.

Thanks for the reply.

A little bit obscure. How was I expected to realise that was what it meant?

I don't expect an answer to that question.

I found the answer in 10 secs on google. Posted answer as your first reply - but deleted it later after snowfly put up a working link.

How did you google it? Because that would have been what I would have done if I knew how you would google it.

Came up as my first hit in this search:

symbol 12m container OR tub

Well I never thought of doing that. My brain cells must be hardening as I age. 😀

I'm 70 and sometimes wonder if my brain is going soft. 😀 Not really - there's still a few tricks in there yet.

You can also try to reverse image search it. Can be done directly on the mobile by taking a photo, by URL of image or by uploading an image.

"a sort of round biscuit-tinny kind of thing with the lid flying off for some reason and then the letters '12' and 'M' possibly related to the lid having just blown off OR cat videos" should do it I think.

12m symbol or 12m icon. 😄 Although they're so simple that I probably wouldn't have tried either if I hadn't been trying to find the simplest search that worked.
