Anyone tried this product before.

I have made several batches and like the product to the point where I have applied to be an ambassador.

Locally made and sourced.

Quick to make the end product. put x 1 packet into a 2.25 ltr ex coke bottle. Mix with 2 litrs of Luke warm water.

Thoroughly mix.

Slightly loosen the top till you hear the hissing.

Wait 24 hrs.

Refridgerate

end product 4-5% alcohol.

panther2: Carbonated?

If there is alcohol it will be carbonated, that is the byproduct of yeast eating sugar.

If only our parents new this when we made Ginger Beer as kids :-)

Bundaberg Ginger Beer is pretty terrible for sugar content as well (including all their soft drinks actually).

networkn: Bundaberg Ginger Beer is pretty terrible for sugar content as well...

That said, the Bundaberg diet ginger beer is very good and has way lower calories - 30 vs 165.

In regards to this alcoholic ginger beer - how does it produce that level of alcohol in that short period of time?

Diet drinks don't agree with me for some reason, plus usually, they taste awful. Maybe I'll give it a go at some stage.

Fortinet considers it a phishing site. Was rated as such in July last year. If you are in contact with the director they might want to get it reclassified.

Quote from the company

"The formulation is done in such a way that we get the alcohol in 24 hours. Pretty rad. Its a recipe secret"

From what I can see, it's 11g of sugar per 100ml of drink - that compares to Coke's 10.6g.  So, definitely not one to drink much of if you're watching calories or sugar intake.

here is the data on the back of the packet re sugar content.
The 4.4 gms per 100 mil of finished product is the one to use I think. How does that compare to other product Ill do some research on.
