Does anyone know when NCEA results will be available?

I heard that they would be available tomorrow on the website.

Another person said Friday.

Can't find anything citeable...

Edit: After searching through stuff.co.nz, found this: http://www.stuff.co.nz/4811080a11.html. Tomorrow it is! :)

2008 NCEA Results

The nervous wait for NCEA exam results is almost over for the almost 140,000 candidates who sat exams at the end of 2008, with results notices in the post and due to be delivered from tomorrow (15 January).

All results will be available online from mid-afternoon 15 January on the secure part of the NZQA website.

Passed Level 1 with Merit.

Failed those ICT exams because our teacher mislead our entire class. We were all getting Merits+ in our practice tests, and then well....

Pretty happy overall :D

So you can pass the year with merit now? This must be a newish thing? I was the guinea pig year. Pretty sure you just needed 80 credits to pass, no merit etc.

You can get your certificate 'endorsed' with M or E now.

If you get 50 credits at Merit level or above, you get a Merit Endorsement.
If you get 50 credits at Excellence level, you get an Excellence Endorsement.

Oh dear. I wouldn't try that at university, considering what you'd be paying for the paper ($600+).

Can't say too much about NCEA, I didn't pay because I pulled Junior out.  They sent the results anyway, with demand for payment, of course.  Junior achieved five out of six maths areas on the external paper.  How he managed to do that with all his non-attendance I will never know.  Evin if I don't pay the fee I will frame his results!  (Check my blog here on GZ to see the on-going saga if you aren't up to date on the subject of Junior AKA destructo boy...)
