Hi Folks,

Years ago when i was a kid, one of the fav drinks from the local dairy was the "Spaceman Drink" from the late 70's and early 80's. Along with the SpaceMan lollies, these drinks to me remain iconic of 70's and 80's kiwiana.

It was a drink bottle in the shape of a spaceman and filled with a drink similar to cordial.. actually it might've been cordial? From memory it had a slightly sour after taste. I can definitely remember orange being a flavour and maybe others like pineapple and raspberry.. not too sure.

Oh and i'm in my mid 30s by the way
I was reminiscing with some younger relatives and noted the Spaceman Drink was a favorite.. Twenty somethings present were keen to see a Spaceman Drink!

I said i'd find a picture but google couldnt find me one??

If anyone has a picture of a group of them on say a dairy counter (how i always remember them) or similar, that would be o for osum as David Tua would say! Laughing

Cheers

Thanks in advance!

I didn't have any idea what you were talking about.  As I continued to read, I started getting vague memories back, I think I remember it!  No pictures or anything though, sorry!
