Call the store! I had the same issue the other week and someone picked up right away and was very helpful.

There is a contact box on the order detail page, if you comment there they reply pretty quick and have the order details immediately in front of them

yea as i said in my original post i tried that and the only response i got was that my order was in the picking stage no details on why it had been in the picking stage for 4 days. (which i took to be either an automated reply or a customer service copy paste reply and when i responded to it i got nothing back)

to be honest i would have been happy with a note saying they where super busy and to not expect my order by next week i didnt get any of that.

the issue is hopefully resolved now as its been shipped but its really soured my view of pbtech.

(necro, for similar issue)

09 5269200 (listed with the companies office) got me a human in the callcentre, who put me through to the RMA department, who didn't answer and I was asked by an automated system to leave a message.

This for an item I returned for repair, "fault not found" said the form in the box, the website says "Replacement Item Issued," and they've returned the original item (a Nokia phone) to me...

Most people at PBTech are Chinese and use WeChat - its the Chinese equivalent of WhatsApp.  If you login to your account on the PB website you can usually find the names of sales reps there or whoever processed your order, add them to WeChat using their email firstname.lastname at pbtech.co.nz and then call them using the app.

I had a lost courier package with PB recently and they just didn't engage.

I phoned 07 958 7300 (the classic you are first in the queue then hang up after 30 minutes) repeatedly over multiple days, emailed them repeatedly and finally went in store. Even then they wouldn't refund and insisted I chase up with the courier company (Aramex) - which I already had , and acknowledged they had lost the parcel and I should deal with the supplier.

All up it took about a month - the only good service was when I went in store - they acknowledged the IVR on the 07 9587300 as a bit of a joke and apologized (didn't fix the issue but I appreciated the sympathy).

Agree with above - only "good" service is dealing with the store direct

Will never deal with PB tech online again
